
Gamersyde is a commercial multiplatform web portal based in Europe, with hundreds of thousands of visitors each month from all over the world. There's so much GPU power to work with these days, even when targeting the base level (which should be PS4, X1). A couple of control loops around the edges of things, 'smooth' or 'turbosmooth', one iteration and bingo! You've something that doesn't look like its made out of 3 triangles and takes literally 2 seconds. There's no reason for any aspect of them, no matter how small, to be such low fidelity. There's a handful of main character assets to get done here, and only two of them are on screen at any given time. The game is going to look great, but you guys think Tekken 7 looks bad (lol). In reply to Gamers are still expecting fighting games in 2018 to have Uncharted budgets for literally no reason. Less polys makes that more efficient and easier to do. The object in complaint seems to be the chain weapon Ivy has, and the only reason I can think of why it looks so shite is because they have to animate it fluidly and responsively. The game is going to look great, but you guys think Tekken 7 looks bad (lol).You don't need uncharted budgets.
